PM Will Not Meet With Opposition Leaders Until After Election

Phnom Penh: The Prime Minister of Cambodia, Hun Sen, has announced that he will not meet with opposition leaders until the July election is over.

He considers the opposition party to have a confused idea, the party asked to meet with him, but used Mr. Chea Poch, a man who had just decided to overthrow the prime minister about two months ago.

He said: "What does the candle light party really want to send such a confusing message?" "Causing unrest before the election? Destroying the election? Boycotting the election but blaming the NEC or the Constitutional Council in case both institutions refuse to register to vote, which is the party's own fault."

At the same time, he also posted the voice of Mr. Chea Poch, who decided to overthrow the prime minister and asked Mr. Chea Poch how he can overthrow the prime minister?

Due to the uncertainty of the opposition party and because he is busy, the prime minister would like to meet with the opposition leader at 9 o'clock on July 30, 2023 at the Peace Palace, after the 7th parliamentary election.
